Post & Packing

Embroidery orders are sent by First Class post, Foil orders are posted by RM Second Class as standard and the price is calculated by weight as items are added to the basket. However, at my discretion certain parcels may be sent Recorded Delivery due to the value of the order and this is done at no extra cost to the customer. We try to post on the day the order is placed and paid for (Monday to Friday) if received before 2pm.   For small orders Northern Ireland is classed as UK but for ROI you must choose Ireland at checkout.

Foiling Machines are sent by courier and you will be informed which courier it will be and given a tracking number. The courier is usually booked to collect the day following the order being placed (Monday to Friday) and is a 1-2 day service for UK mainland.   For Northern Ireland, & Republic of Ireland choose Ireland at checkout.  For all other countries please enquire about postage costs prior to placing an order.

Overseas Customers.

It is not always possible to send overseas and I ask that customers contact us by email prior to placing an order to confirm it is possible. I can not cover all postage options for all countries on the website,  therefore if shipping to a particular country is possible, I will explain how to place the order and how extra postage costs are to be paid if required.

Payment

We have a minimum order of £5.00, not including the postage costs.  Our terms are payment before posting on all orders.  You can pay by Paypal, Credit/debit card, or by sending a cheque or postal order.  In some cases we may insist on Paypal payment only.  This is at our discretion. Once payment has been received we endeavour to post the same day for orders received before 2.00pm.  You will receive an automatic response that your order has been received and this will be followed up later by a confirmation e-mail telling you when your order will be posted. 

 

Terms for returning products

Returns

We hope there will be no need to return goods, but should there be a problem with anything you receive, please email in the first instance, to discuss the matter.  This must be within 14 days of receipt of your goods, and you will then have a further 7 days in which to return the item to us.  If you have changed your mind about an item you have purchased and wish to return it, we will refund the price of the goods minus our postage costs.  Goods are returned at your own cost.  If an item appears to be faulty we will pay all costs once the fault has been confirmed on it's return. 

Terms of Guarantee for Foiling Machines

The Foil It machine is guaranteed for 12 months. Within the first month we will refund postage costs for returning a faulty machine and deliver a new one of the same model.

After the first month it is the customer who is responsible for the return of the machine for investigation of the fault. The machine must be packed in a safe and secure manner.  It is advisable, if possible, to retain the original packaging.

If your machine develops a fault please contact us first by emailing pat@patsymay.co.uk stating the nature of the fault that has developed, your name, telephone number and when and where it was purchased. After investigation of the machine it will be at our discretion whether to repair or replace the machine. Repairs on any fault that is found to have been caused by misuse may be chargeable.
